Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani has been an extremely popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the most wealthy and most affluent. He starred in the classic film Shottas opposite another singer Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani got signed to Shang Records in 1996 where he released his first album like Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, like Judge Not With Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the highest position on the British Reggae Charts), the Who the Cap Fit Remix, and Sensimelia. Each of these songs contributed to Ky's growing popularity among the young generation of reggae artists. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell of Fugees in the song Avenue in 1997. The song proved to be a massively successful cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley first performed in Miami at Midem.
